Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, Le Hong Vinh, congratulates the Provincial Military Command.

At the Provincial Military Command, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh emphasized that not only officers and soldiers in the province but also all officials, generals, party members and people inside and outside the province feel proud and happy when the Nghe An Provincial Armed Forces receive the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces for the second time.

This title is a recognition and commendation of the contributions, sacrifices, efforts, and endeavors of generations of leaders, officers, and soldiers in the provincial armed forces over many generations. The joy is further amplified when, at the beginning of 2024, the Provincial Police also received the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh highly appreciated the preparation and organization of the ceremony to receive the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces, noting the solemn, emotional, and warm atmosphere; in which the Provincial Military Command played an important and active role.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day, Comrade Le Hong Vinh extended his best wishes for good health to all officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command and acknowledged and commended the achievements and results that the Provincial Military Command has achieved in the past, making positive contributions to the socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security of the province.

Emphasizing that Nghe An is a strategically important area for national defense and security, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his hope that the Provincial Military Command would continue to uphold its traditions, maintain unity and cohesion, seize opportunities and advantages, overcome difficulties and challenges, effectively play its core role, maintain political stability, and create a favorable environment for the province's socio-economic development.

The leaders of Nghe An province will accompany and support the Provincial Military Command in maintaining and promoting the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces, so that the armed forces always remain the core force in building a national defense system; maintaining political security, order, and social safety in the province.

Expressing sincere gratitude for the kind wishes, greetings, and encouragement from Comrade Le Hong Vinh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Colonel Nguyen Ky Hong, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, emphasized that the Army, from its inception, has defined its basic functions as a fighting force, a working force, and a labor and production force. However, the fundamental task of the Army is to be a sharp instrument of violence protecting the Party, the State, the people, and the socialist regime.

The achievement of being awarded the title of Hero Unit of the People's Armed Forces for the second time is proof that the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command are a truly loyal and trustworthy political and military force of the Party Committee, government, and people. The Provincial Military Command has led, directed, advised, and successfully carried out military and national defense tasks in the province.

To live up to the trust of the Party Committee, the government, and the people, in the coming time, the Provincial Military Command pledges to continue to uphold and promote the traditions of a unit that has been twice awarded the title of Hero; focus on advising, leading, and directing the building of unity and cohesion within the unit; build a politically strong provincial armed force to improve overall quality and combat readiness in any situation; build a comprehensively strong, exemplary, and outstanding unit; and build a Party Committee that excellently fulfills its nhiệm vụ.

The Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command affirmed that at any time, when the Party and government assign tasks, and when the people need them, the provincial armed forces are always ready to mobilize forces to ensure national defense, security, social order and safety, actively participate in social welfare activities, help people eradicate hunger and poverty, and prevent, combat, and overcome natural disasters, epidemics, and forest fires.
