Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Minh Thong attends the great solidarity festival in Con Cuong.

Na Duoi village covers a natural area of ​​over 250 hectares, located 2 km from the center of Mau Duc commune, and is home to 204 Thai households with 875 inhabitants. Six different clans have lived together in the village for hundreds of years. Currently, the Na Duoi Party Branch has 26 members and is rated as clean and strong. Various departments and organizations such as the Youth Union, Farmers' Association, Senior Citizens' Association, and Veterans' Association participate regularly in activities, attracting all members to join.

100% of households have access to the power grid, and own motorbikes as well as audio-visual equipment. The village has 45 poor households, accounting for 22%, which is low compared to many other villages in the area.

In 2018, Na Duoi village mobilized over 200 million VND in contributions to build 2.3 km of access roads. The village also successfully persuaded 35 households to donate trees and land for the construction of the inter-communal road from Mau Duc to Thach Ngan.

In addition, the village has implemented models such as planting acacia trees, raising goats, pigs, and chickens... including elderly people like Mr. Ngan Ba ​​Hoc and Mr. Loc Vinh Tai, who are over 70 years old but still enthusiastically contribute to economic development.

Speaking at the event, Comrade Le Minh Thong urged the people and local authorities, as well as the Na Duoi Village Management Board, to continue to effectively implement the nationwide movement to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas, to care for the cause of national unity, and to develop many economic models to aim towards the goal of eradicating hunger, reducing poverty, and achieving legitimate wealth.

At the same time, we hope that our people will uphold the spirit of mutual support and compassion, remember their roots, preserve fine cultural traditions, and fight against social evils and outdated customs.

On the same day, the delegation from Nghe An province also presented a house worth 40 million VND to Ms. Lo Thi Huong in Chom Boi village. Ms. Huong's family's house was destroyed during typhoon No. 3 last June.
