Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De inspected dikes, embankments, and dams damaged by Typhoon No. 10.
The working group of the People's Committee of Nghe An province inspected the construction sites in many wards and communes, such as Vinh Loc, Cua Lo, Trung Loc, Quynh Phu, Tan Ky and Dai Dong; and at the same time, issued directives to khắc phục the damage caused by typhoon No. 10.

On October 8th, a delegation from the People's Committee of Nghe An province, led by Mr. Nguyen Van De - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the province, inspected the site of dikes, embankments, and irrigation reservoirs, as well as the work to mitigate damage caused by Typhoon No. 10.

The delegation included representatives from the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Irrigation Sub-Department, the Construction Project Management Division, and the Project Management Board of the Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Environment.

Typhoon No. 10 caused significant damage to dikes, embankments, and irrigation dams in Nghe An province; including structures in many communes and wards: Vinh Loc, Cua Lo, Trung Loc, Quynh Phu, Tan Ky, and Dai Dong.

The working group of the People's Committee of Nghe An province inspected the Hoa Thai and Phuc Tho dikes in Vinh Loc ward; the sea embankment in the Binh Minh Square area and Lan Chau island in Cua Lo ward; the breakwater in Trung Loc commune; the sea dike in Minh Thanh village in Quynh Phu commune; the landslide area in Block 1, Tan Ky commune and the Thong Nhat dam in Dai Dong commune.

The working group listened to detailed reports from the leaders of the communes and wards regarding the damage caused by Typhoon No. 10, especially damage to infrastructure; heard reports on damage remediation plans and recommendations from the communes and wards; and provided guidance to finalize the damage assessment plans.


Comrade Nguyen Van De - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - directed communes, wards, and functional departments and units to review and fully compile statistics on the damage; consider options for overcoming the damage; and assigned the Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Environment to compile, report, and propose appropriate and effective solutions.
