Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development falls to his death from the 27th floor.
While walking in the lobby of the Vinaconex apartment building located at 288 Khuat Duy Tien Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi, residents were shocked to discover the body of an elderly person lying on the ground.
Late on August 15th, Mr. Chu Phu My, Director of the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, confirmed the information that Mr. Pham Van Khuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, had passed away that afternoon.
According to initial information, the incident occurred at approximately 4:50 PM on August 15th at the Vinaconex 1 apartment complex located at 288 Khuat Duy Tien Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi.
Around that time, residents of the apartment building unexpectedly discovered the body of an elderly person, believed to be a man, lying motionless in the lobby and immediately reported the incident to the authorities.
Immediately after receiving the report, law enforcement officers arrived to secure the scene and investigate the incident.
According to observations at the scene, many local residents had gathered to watch the incident.
According to local residents, the body was that of an elderly man. The building's lobby was deserted at the time of the incident, so few people witnessed it. Some people believe the victim may have fallen from building B of the apartment complex.
Authorities are currently actively investigating the incident.
It is known that Mr. Pham Van Khuong started working at the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, holding the position of Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development since May 2018.
Prior to that, Mr. Khuong was the Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment. He was also the Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of the former Ha Tay province from August 2006 to July 2008.
