Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development fell from 27th floor to death
While walking in the lobby of the Vinaconex apartment building located at 288 Khuat Duy Tien, Cau Giay District, Hanoi, local residents were shocked to discover the body of an elderly person lying on the ground.
Late on the evening of August 15, Mr. Chu Phu My, Director of the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, confirmed that Mr. Pham Van Khuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development had died that afternoon.
According to initial information, the incident occurred at around 4:50 p.m. on August 15 at the Vinaconex 1 apartment building at 288 Khuat Duy Tien, (Cau Giay district, Hanoi).
At around the same time, residents of this apartment building suddenly discovered the body of an elderly person, suspected to be a man, lying motionless in the lobby of the apartment building and immediately reported the incident to the authorities.
Immediately after receiving the news, the authorities were present to protect the scene and investigate the incident.
At the scene, many people gathered to watch the incident.
According to local residents, the body was that of an elderly man. At the time of the incident, the lobby of the apartment building was very deserted, so few people witnessed the incident. Some people believe that the victim may have fallen from Building B of the apartment building to the ground.
Currently, the authorities are still actively clarifying the incident.
It is known that Mr. Pham Van Khuong accepted to work at the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, holding the position of Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development since May 2018.
Previously, Mr. Khuong was Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment. Mr. Khuong was Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Ha Tay province (old) from August 2006 to July 2008.
