Youngest Associate Professor in Vietnam
The State Council of Professors has decided to recognize the titles of professor and associate professor for 552 teachers, of which 52 are recognized as professors and 470 are associate professors.
Young scientist and lecturer, Dr. Ho Khac Hieu of Duy Tan University (Da Nang) became the youngest Associate Professor in Vietnam to be awarded the title in 2015 at the age of just 31.

In research activities, up to now, Associate Professor - Dr. Ho Khac Hieu has published 22 articles in domestic and international journals, including 12 international articles in the SCI category. Associate Professor - Dr. Ho Khac Hieu has just completed a Nafosted topic and is currently presiding over the second Nafosted topic.
According to Ho Khac Hieu: “The success achieved today is largely due to the professional working environment of the Institute of High Technology Research and Development, Duy Tan University - where many excellent PhDs graduated from abroad work and at the same time, the school's Board of Directors always creates favorable conditions for me to feel secure in my research and teaching work. Receiving the decision to recognize me as meeting the standards for the title of associate professor, I feel very honored and proud but also feel some pressure to try harder to be worthy of this title”.
