On the afternoon of May 9th, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held a conference to evaluate the coordinated program for implementing science and education tasks in 2017 and to sign a plan for coordinated propaganda between the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and science and education sectors in 2018.

Recently, the signing of agreements between the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee in the field of science and education has aimed to create unity in leadership and direction in implementing plans and projects, concretizing key programs, breakthroughs, goals, targets, and tasks in the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress.

This will promote and improve the quality of two-way information exchange between Party and State agencies, leading to effective and practical solutions to enhance the quality of science and education work in the new situation.

The ideological situation of cadres, Party members, civil servants, public employees, and students is promptly assessed, leading to solutions to address difficulties, obstacles, and grievances, thereby creating unity within the Party and consensus among the people.

At the conference, representatives from various departments and agencies discussed issues such as: media crises; mechanisms for coordinating information exchange; proactively managing and conducting public relations work, etc.

At the conference, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial People's Committee's Party Committee agreed on specific contents for coordinated implementation in the fields of science and education, including: Science and technology, environment and knowledge work; Education and training; Health, population and family planning; Vocational training, care, education and protection of children, gender equality; Family, physical education and sports; Social insurance; and Tourism.

Concluding the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Minh Thong emphasized that both sides need to strengthen close coordination, and all sectors need to be more decisive in effectively implementing science and education tasks; promptly grasping the public opinion and prominent issues in the field of science and education, thereby proposing timely solutions to the Party Committee and the government, contributing to socio-economic development in the province.
