One person died after speeding and crashing into a drain.

(Baonghean.vn) - At 9:30 PM on October 21st, on a road in Phu My hamlet, Tay Hieu commune (Thai Hoa town), a man crashed his motorbike into a drainage ditch and died on the spot.

Witnesses reported that at 9:30 PM, a man driving a motorbike at high speed veered off the road, into a ditch, and crashed into a drainage culvert. The victim was identified as Vo Cong Thang, residing in Troi hamlet, Nghia Khanh commune, Nghia Dan district. He sustained severe injuries and died on the spot.

Locals added that this bend in the road is a frequent site of accidents. Mr. Thang has now been brought home for burial according to local customs.
