Comrade Vi Van Lam (alias Canh), was born in 1910, in a studious family in Dong Khua (Thai Hoa village), Mon Son commune, Con Cuong district. At the age of 13, Vi Van Lam was invited by his father to teach him Chinese characters, so he was one of the few educated people in the village. With outstanding talent, dexterity, good weaving, beautiful hair cutting... the young man Vi Van Lam was famous throughout the villages in Mon Son - Luc Da.
