Women Entrepreneurs in Vinh City Introduce More Than 200 “Clean” Products
(Baonghean.vn) - More than 200 clean products produced and sold by women at all levels of the Women's Union were introduced to consumers at the "Women's Entrepreneurship" Festival organized by the Women's Union - Labor Federation - Farmers' Association of Vinh City.
The festival was held on March 4, along with the Forum “For the safety of women and children” in 2019. This is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 109th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - 2019) and the 1979th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising.

“Year of Safety for Women and Children” 2019 is implemented with 5 main areas, which are: Food safety and hygiene; Safety for women and children in the family; Safety for women and children at school, workplace, society; Environmental safety; Safety for elderly women, women with disabilities, single women”.
This is also a consistent theme that has been implemented by women's unions at all levels for many years, contributing to the implementation of sustainable development goals, millennium development goals, and the national strategy on gender equality for the 2011-2020 period.

Regarding this content, at the celebration, delegates heard representatives from the Provincial Women's Union share many contents to mention the role of women in modern society and solutions to build happy, safe, equal and progressive families.

At the celebration, the Vinh City Women’s Union also opened food stalls to respond to the “Women’s Entrepreneurship Day”. Through this, more than 200 clean products produced and sold by women at all levels of the union were introduced to consumers. Currently, some models have also been effective, creating stable jobs for many women in the area.
