Over the past period, women's associations at all levels in Nghe An have been actively innovating the content and methods of their activities, linking them with digital transformation, in order to better fulfill their role in the political system and their role as representatives of their members and women.

In an area where over 85% of the population are ethnic minorities, the Women's Association of Lang Khe commune (Con Cuong district) has implemented and used PowerPoint software to create engaging slideshows and promotional content for meetings, summaries, and communication conferences, focusing on key themes and topics related to the association's work and activities.

According to Ms. Vi Thi Xuan, President of the Women's Union of Lang Khe commune: Thanks to digital transformation, the methods have become more attractive and engaging for cadres, members, and women compared to traditional methods like reading reports or oral propaganda. This is because the slides are designed with easy-to-view charts and data, along with images and clips showcasing practical and concrete actions – "real people, real deeds" – of local cadres, members, and women. Similarly, in the thematic discussion "Uncle Ho in the Hearts of Women," images of Uncle Ho with women and his sayings for women, as well as examples of cadres, members, and women in the commune "following" Uncle Ho's example, have been incorporated. As a result, the propaganda work has become more effective and has a stronger ripple effect.

The Women's Association of Lang Khe commune has also created Fanpages, Facebook, Zalo, and YouTube channels to facilitate faster, more timely dissemination of information to a wider audience, accessible anytime, anywhere.

According to Ms. Ngo Thi Thanh Xuan, the chairperson of the Women's Union of Nghi Loc district, the focus of digital transformation is the use of Office software for managing incoming and outgoing documents; creating QR codes for members to access information and documents related to the union's activities, including QR codes attached to model signs for "Garbage-Free Roads" and "Clean Houses, Beautiful Gardens, Civilized Neighborhoods" to help officials and members access and learn about information and guidance on implementing the models; and QR codes for digitizing the list of members at the village cultural center…

Women's associations at the grassroots level in Nghi Loc are actively changing the methods of propaganda, thematic activities, and association meetings using PowerPoint presentations and slides at conferences, linking them with dissemination on the digital platforms of the associations at all levels, such as guidance on sorting household waste; vigilance against harmful and toxic information on social media; digitizing membership lists in each branch at the village cultural center…

Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Hien, Permanent Vice President of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union, shared: "The Women's Union is an important and indispensable component of the political system at all levels. Therefore, in response to the Party's need to innovate its leadership methods and accelerate the State's administrative reform, women's unions at all levels in Nghe An are actively innovating their content and methods of operation in conjunction with digital transformation."

Currently, the Provincial Women's Union and 100% of district-level women's unions are implementing integrated document processing on the Office system; the provincial level and 17 out of 21 district-level units are using digital signatures; 100% of district-level and grassroots women's unions and branches have established Zalo and Facebook groups to exchange and disseminate information on union work; and QR code scanning is implemented at conferences and training sessions.

Women's associations at all levels in the province actively guide officials, members, and women in accessing digital technology, the digital society, and the digital government. The entire province had 200 collective and individual entries in response to the "Application of Information Technology in Association Activities" competition organized by the Vietnam Women's Union Central Committee; of which, 3 entries participated at the central level, and 2 entries made it to the top 50 entries for the voting round on the Vietnam Women's Union Central Committee's Fanpage, including one entry from Nghe An that won second prize nationwide.

Implementing and promoting digital transformation, in addition to fostering the women's movement and the activities of the Women's Union in a substantive and effective manner, also contributes to enhancing the all-round maturity of Union officials, helping them become more confident and enthusiastic in their social work and in building happy families.

Innovating content and methods of operation, with a focus on promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation, is one of the three breakthroughs of the Provincial Women's Union Congress for the 2021-2026 term. Therefore, this is a task that continues to be directed by women's associations at all levels in the province to better fulfill their role in the political system and their role as representatives of women members.
