Nghe An women innovate working methods associated with digital transformation
In recent times, women's unions at all levels in Nghe An have been actively innovating their content and methods of operation in conjunction with digital transformation to better perform their role in the political system and the representative role of members and women.
In an area with more than 85% ethnic minorities, the Women's Union of Lang Khe commune (Con Cuong) has deployed and introduced PowerPoint software to build programs and propaganda content presented on vivid slides to serve preliminary and final conferences or communication conferences according to topics and themes in the work and activities of the union.
According to Ms. Vi Thi Xuan - President of the Women's Union of Lang Khe commune: Thanks to digital transformation, it has created more attraction and attention for cadres, members and women compared to the traditional form of reading reports or oral propaganda; because in the Slides, easy-to-view charts of data have been designed, easy to follow images and clips from practical, specific actions of "real people, real work" of cadres, members and women in the locality. Or in the organization of the thematic activity "Uncle Ho in the hearts of women", images of Uncle Ho with women and Uncle Ho's words for women were designed, the "following" of Uncle Ho by cadres, members and women of the commune... from there, the propaganda work was more effective, with a strong spread.
Lang Khe Commune Women's Union has also built Fanpage, Facebook, Zalo, YouTube pages to serve faster, more timely propaganda and reach more audiences, accessible anytime, anywhere.
The focus of digital transformation at Nghi Loc District Women's Union, according to Ms. Ngo Thi Thanh Xuan - President of the Union, is to use Office software to manage incoming and outgoing documents; create QR codes for members to access information and documents related to union activities, including QR codes attached to model signs on "Garbage-free routes", "Clean houses, beautiful gardens, civilized alleys" models to help cadres and members access, learn information, and guide the implementation of the model; QR codes digitize the list of members at the village cultural house...
The grassroots Women's Unions at Nghi Loc actively changed the form of propaganda, thematic activities, and union activities using Powerpoint, slide projections... at conferences, combined with transmission on digital platforms of the union at all levels, such as instructions on classifying household waste; being alert to bad and toxic information on social networks; digitizing the list of members in each branch at the village cultural house...

Therefore, in response to the requirement of renewing the Party's leadership methods and promoting the State's administrative reform; Women's Unions at all levels in Nghe An have also actively innovated the content and methods of operation associated with digital transformation.
Currently, the Provincial Women's Union and 100% of district-level women's unions have implemented the interconnection of incoming and outgoing documents on the Office system; the provincial level and 17/21 district-level units have implemented digital signatures; 100% of district-level unions have come to the grassroots level and branches have established Zalo and Fceboock groups to exchange and propagate union tasks; QR code scanning is implemented at conferences and training sessions...
The provincial Women's Unions actively guide cadres, members and women to access digital technology, digital society and digital government. The whole province has 200 collective and individual products responding to the Contest "Application of information technology in union activities" organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union; of which, 3 products participated at the Central level and 2 products were in the top 50 products in the voting round on the Fanpage of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, of which 1 product from Nghe An won the second prize nationwide.
Accelerating digital transformation, in addition to promoting the women's movement and effective and practical association activities, also contributes to enhancing the maturity in all aspects of the association's officials, helping them become more confident and enthusiastic about social work and building happy families.

Innovation in content and methods of operation, focusing on promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation is one of the three breakthroughs of the Provincial Women's Union Congress for the 2021-2026 term.
