Women in Nghe An respond to the "Clean Up the World Campaign".
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 21st, the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union, in coordination with Nghi Loc district, organized the launching ceremony of "Women joining hands to protect the environment" to respond to the "Clean Up the World Campaign".

At the launching ceremony, the Provincial Women's Union called on women to protect the environment through practical activities such as:
Implementing awareness-raising activities among female members and officials about the meaning and importance of the environment to human life; promoting and encouraging women and families to collect garbage and waste in designated areas; building economic development models linked to environmental protection among female members,... contributing to making the local environment greener, cleaner, and more beautiful.

Following the launching ceremony, the Women's Union of 30 communes and towns in Nghi Loc district signed a commitment to actively participate in environmental sanitation for the new rural development program. They also mobilized to take responsibility for maintaining the flower-lined roads and cleaning up the environment.
