On May 20 and 21, a delegation of the Hanoi Women's Union led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy - Permanent Vice President of the Union visited and presented gifts.womenpoor Ky Son district
Joining the Hanoi delegation, on the provincial side, there was Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, President of the Women's Union of Nghe An province.
Accordingly, within the framework of the working program in Nghe An, the delegation of the Hanoi Women's Union had a working session with the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union to exchange and share experiences in union activities and women's movements between the two localities.

The delegation also visited and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard Command. Here, the delegation grasped some of the border situation of Nghe An province with a border length of 468.281km, adjacent to the three provinces of Xieng Khouang, Hua Phan and Bo Ly Kham Xay of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
Along with carrying out the political task of protecting and maintaining national border security, in recent times, Nghe An Border Guard has also actively and effectively participated in the tasks of building the grassroots political system and developing the socio-economy, including many activities to care for and target women and children.children.

The working delegation of the Hanoi Women's Union and the provincial Women's Union also directly visited and presented gifts to the Party committees, authorities and poor women in Na Loi and Nam Can communes, Ky Son district.
Specifically, in Na Loi commune, in addition to giving gifts to the Party Committee, government and Border Guard Station, the Hanoi Women's Union has supported the livelihood model of "breeding cows" for 5 poor women, worth 10 million VND/model; and given 20 gifts to poor women.

In Nam Can commune, the Hanoi Women's Union presented gifts to the commune Party Committee, authorities and border guard station; and provided financial support of 50 million VND to build a "Shelter of Love" for Ms. La Thi No in Noong De village, who is in extremely difficult circumstances. Her husband passed away and she is raising two children alone.
The Hanoi Women's Union also provided financial support for the construction of sanitary facilities for 5 poor female members, worth 10 million VND/facility; and presented 20 gifts to poor female members of the commune.

On this occasion, the Provincial Women's Union also presented gifts to 2 Border Guard stations and Nam Can; presented 2 sets of computers and printers to the Women's Unions of 2 communes of Na Loi and Nam Can.
