Phu Quoc: Discover the APEC complex, home to the world's largest ballroom.
Surpassing the scale of Caesars Forum (USA), the APEC Convention Center complex in Phu Quoc has set a series of international records, positioning Vietnam on the global MICE tourism map.
Phu Quoc has officially been added to the map of international conference destinations with the APEC Convention and Exhibition Center complex, boasting record-breaking specifications. This is not only a venue for important diplomatic events but also an iconic architectural masterpiece, combining modern construction technology with Vietnamese cultural identity.
The largest APEC convention center in history is located in Vietnam.
The APEC Convention and Exhibition Center in Phu Quoc, built by Sun Group, has a total floor area of 157,375 m², including 4 above-ground floors and 1 basement floor. With this scale, the building has become the largest convention center ever constructed for an APEC event in Vietnam, far surpassing existing centers such as SECC (Ho Chi Minh City) or complexes in Hanoi and Da Nang.

Notably, the architectural highlight of the building lies in its 81-meter-span, column-free exhibition and conference space. With an area of up to 11,050 m², it officially becomes the world's largest ballroom, surpassing the record of 10,220 m² held by Caesars Forum in Las Vegas (USA).

Compared to leading MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) centers in the region such as Singapore, Thailand, or Indonesia, this space optimally meets the most stringent requirements for hosting head-of-state events and super-large-scale exhibitions.
A unique Dinner Show space unlike any other in the world.
In addition to traditional meeting rooms, the APEC Phu Quoc Convention Center also boasts a specially designed Dinner Show space with a capacity of 2,000 seats. This is a rare model worldwide, directly integrating a dinner party space with artistic performances within the convention center, instead of requiring separate theaters.

Notably, the performances here will be designed and staged by Cirque du Soleil – a leading entertainment brand from Canada. The comprehensive investment in sound, lighting, and stage systems ensures that the venue meets the standards for hosting world-class artistic shows, catering to both high-level diplomatic events and affluent travelers.
Southeast Asia's leading multi-purpose performance venue.
The next important piece in the complex is the APEC Phu Quoc Multi-Purpose Performing Arts Center with a capacity of 4,094 seats. In Southeast Asia, the number of theaters with auditoriums exceeding 4,000 seats is very small; typically, these facilities only range from 1,500 to 2,500 seats.

Designed by SOM (USA) and Apeiro, the building is deeply rooted in cultural heritage, with a roof inspired by dragon scales and 50 pillars reminiscent of the legend of "Descendants of the Dragon and the Immortal." Unlike conventional theaters, this performance venue is positioned to host long-term international shows and major music festivals throughout the year.
Overall, owning such a world-class conference and performance complex not only prepares Phu Quoc for international conferences but also opens up opportunities for a breakthrough in Vietnam's MICE tourism industry on the international stage.
