Poroshenko boasts about missile weapons testing near the Ukraine-Russia border.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko announced that Kyiv will conduct tests of its newest missile weapons in the Chernigov region, bordering Russia and Belarus.
"For Ukraine, completely new modern capabilities are now emerging regarding increased accuracy, increased range and power of weapons," the Ukrainian president declared on Wednesday in the Chernigov region, according to the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform.

He stated that "it is very important that these tests take place on Chernigov soil."
Earlier on Saturday, Poroshenko stated that Ukraine needed high-precision, long-range missiles capable of striking targets deep behind enemy lines.
