Nghe An: Highlights of July 26th
On July 26th, the entire Party, Army, and People of Vietnam, along with international friends, mournfully bid farewell to Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
According to statistics, from July 25th to today (July 26th), more than 6,000 domestic and international delegations have visited and paid respects to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; more than 500,000 people have come to offer incense and express gratitude to this exceptionally outstanding disciple of President Ho Chi Minh.
During the solemn funeral ceremony organized by the Party, the State, and the family of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the National Funeral Home, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong (Hanoi),The eulogy was read by President To Lam.There is a section:“Today, with profound emotion and boundless sorrow, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, together with compatriots and soldiers nationwide, our compatriots abroad, international friends, and family, solemnly hold a memorial service and farewell ceremony for Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong – an exceptionally outstanding leader, a shining example of studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh, a steadfast communist party member with great prestige of the Party, State, and People of Vietnam, fully embodying the qualities, talents, courage, and wisdom of the generation of Vietnamese leaders in the đổi mới (renovation) period – to his final resting place.”"

Along the routes where the funeral procession carrying the coffin of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong passed, the people of Hanoi stood shoulder to shoulder, turning their hearts towards the soul of this humble and unassuming citizen of the thousand-year-old capital city.

* On July 26th, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held its regular monthly meeting for July. At this regular meeting,The Provincial People's Committee unanimously approved the draft.Report and draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on support policies for officials, civil servants, employees, contract workers, non-specialized personnel, and other redundant personnel due to the reorganization of district and commune-level administrative units in the province.

* Also at the July regular meeting, the report on the socio-economic situation showed that Nghe An's economy continued its positive recovery trend.State budget revenue in the areaIn July, the estimated revenue was 1,300.5 billion VND; the cumulative revenue for the first 7 months is estimated at 13,456 billion VND, reaching 84.6% of the budget and 138.2% compared to the same period in 2023.
