Sony has announced three games for PlayStation Plus members in August 2026, including survival action, cooperative adventure, and psychological horror. Users can add the games to their library until August 31st.
Sony announced that PlayStation Plus members can claim three August 2026 games between August 4th and August 31st:Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition,Big WalkandSignalisThis list combines three distinct design approaches: post-apocalyptic survival, cooperative multiplayer adventure, and psychological horror with resource management.
The games offered are free for existing PlayStation Plus subscribers. Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition supports PS5 and PS4; Big Walk is PS5 only; and Signalis is for PS4.

Three experiences with different gameplay mechanics.
The standout game in this release is Dying Light 2: Stay Human: Reloaded Edition. Set in a post-apocalyptic city where much of the population has been transformed into monsters by a deadly virus, Aiden Caldwell is a survivor with unique abilities who seeks answers about his past while becoming embroiled in conflict between factions.
In terms of gameplay structure, Dying Light 2 combines action and survival. The urban setting and the threat of disease focus on survival, while factional conflict introduces elements of choice and confrontation into the protagonist's journey.
Meanwhile, Big Walk takes a cooperative multiplayer approach on PS5. The game doesn't focus on combat but requires players to cooperate and communicate to explore the open world, solve puzzles, uncover secrets, and overcome environmental challenges.
This approach is distinctly different from Dying Light 2: instead of focusing on fighting monsters or conflict, Big Walk places emphasis on teamwork. The value of the experience depends heavily on the ability to exchange information and work together to overcome obstacles in the game world.
Signalis brings resource management into a horror atmosphere.
Signalis is for PS4 and is a psychological survival horror game. Players control Elster, a Replika technician who wakes up in a mysterious, retro-futuristic world and sets out to find his missing companion.
The game builds pressure through gloomy locations, puzzles, dangerous creatures, and limited resources. Resource management forces players to consider their approach to each situation, rather than relying solely on direct confrontation.
Compared to the other two games, Signalis is a more intense, single-player experience. Dying Light 2 explores the scale of a post-apocalyptic city, Big Walk prioritizes communication and cooperation, while Signalis focuses on the insecurity and resource limitations within a confined environment.
