PSG on top of Ligue I with a 17-point gap

Ibrahimovic's double helped PSG crush Lyon 5-1 in the late match of round 18 of Ligue I.

Ibrahimovic opened the scoring for PSG in the 11th minute before defender Serge Aurier doubled the lead. Lyon equalized in the first half through Jordan Ferri.

However, that was also Lyon's only goal of the match. In the second half, Ibrahimovic completed his double and goals from Edison Cavani and Lucas Moura helped PSG seal the score at 5-1.

The big win over Lyon solidified PSG's top spot in Ligue I. The Paris team is 17 points ahead of second-placed Angers, even though the first leg has not yet ended.

Along with PSG's victory, Ibrahimovic also rose to the top of Ligue I's top scorer with 14 goals.

PSG are still unbeaten in Ligue 1 this season. No Ligue 1 team has ever finished a season unbeaten. PSG have won the last three seasons and have no challengers this season.

In round 18, Monaco surpassed Caen to climb to third place. Monaco has 31 points, equal to second-placed Angers but has a lower goal difference.
