Qatar plans to spend $200 billion on the 2022 World Cup
Russian Ambassador to Qatar Nurmakhmad Kholov said that Russia will help Qatar in preparing for the 2022 World Cup. Specifically, Russia will help Qatar in building stadiums and organizing activities within the framework of the World Cup.

Mr. Nurmakhmad Kholov also revealed that Qatar plans to spend at least 200 billion USD on the 2022 World Cup to demonstrate its power.
Qatar has made no secret of its hope that the World Cup hosted in the country in four years will far surpass the 2018 World Cup in Russia. (The World Cup in Russia cost a total of $12 billion).
