Qatar becomes the host team with the worst start in World Cup history

Qatar spent 12 long years preparing but still could not make a surprise when they lost 0-2 toEcuadorat the opening matchWorld Cup 2022.

The home team were completely outplayed by the South American representatives before conceding two goals after just half an hour.
