Highway 1A: Two trucks traveling in the same direction collide, drivers trapped in cabins.

(Baonghean.vn) - A truck traveling at high speed crashed into the back of another truck that was turning across the road, causing the driver to suffer a broken leg and become trapped in the cabin.

The accident occurred at 9:30 PM on December 15th on National Highway 1A at the intersection of Quynh Van and Quynh Bang (Quynh Luu district).

At that time, a refrigerated truck with license plate 73C - 03420 was traveling from Vinh to Hanoi. Due to excessive speed, it crashed into the rear of a truck with license plate 37C 16591 that was turning across the road.

The powerful collision completely destroyed the cabin of the truck with license plate 73C-03420; the driver's seat was crushed and pressed against the driver, causing a broken leg, requiring him to be rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment.

The accident caused a significant traffic jam. Immediately after the accident occurred, traffic police from Quynh Luu District Police arrived to secure the scene, direct traffic, and coordinate with relevant authorities to investigate the cause of the incident.
