Earlier, the police received a report from a woman that her 24-year-old daughter had been tricked and sold to the Tuong Phat massage parlor on Nguyen Anh Thu Street, Hoc Mon District. Her daughter called for help because she was not allowed to go out and was forced to work to pay off debts imposed by the owner. The investigation agency discovered that many girls were in similar situations at other establishments.

The special police team (Team 3, PC02) was mobilized, suddenly raided 6 massage parlors, hair salons, aphrodisiac cafes, prostitution... in the suburbs of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Dong Nai, rescuing 13 girls. The victims said that at first they went to apply for jobs and were tricked into being sold to "devil's dens", forced to owe brokerage fees. Tuan and 4 juniors were arrested shortly after.Tuan admitted that since 2018, he has been posting on Zalo and Facebook job recruitment information for light jobs with high salaries. When the girls from the countryside want to apply for jobs, they arrange to meet them at many locations such as Binh Gia Street, Hoang Ke Viem Street (Tan Binh District)...

Tuan's group said that the advertised positions were full, and lured the girls to work as employees, servers... at "healthy" massage parlors and coffee shops with higher salaries. When the girls agreed, Tuan and his men took them to the owner of the sex establishment to "transfer" them for 8-10 million VND in brokerage fees.

The massage parlor owners forced the girls to carry this money, to serve customers to pay off the debt and then imprisoned them. Many were beaten and tortured for trying to escape.

"The situation of fake recruitment to trick victims into being sold to massage parlors, sex shops, and prostitution in Ho Chi Minh City is not new. However, many people, especially young girls, still fall into the trap because they are promised easy work and high salaries," said the leader of the Task Force.
