A cafe in Hanoi that keeps handwritten messages.
In the heart of Hanoi's Old Quarter, there's a café that makes young people stop tapping on their smartphone keyboards and pick up pens to write on colorful pieces of paper.
While a decade ago, bubble tea shops were booming with the trend of encouraging customers to write and draw on the walls, nowadays few people still hold onto that idea when running a coffee shop. The Note Coffee, located on Luong Van Can street near the bustling Hoan Kiem Lake, is different; the owner seems to still have a fondness for handwritten letters and hopes to rekindle that beautiful inspiration for everyone.

Each piece of paper you write on will contribute to the cafe's look. This idea sparks customer interest. You can hang them on hooks, stick them on walls, guitars, stair railings, even inside lampshades, and over time, these pieces of paper will always be preserved.
Free-spirited yet not chaotic, the colorful pieces of paper, filled with diverse content written by countless hands, seem to be arranged in some invisible order. They all blend together harmoniously, covering this space with layers upon layers of the lovely thoughts and feelings of young people.

You'll have moments to truly relax your mind, think about a confession you couldn't say, a thank you you've kept in your heart, or simply some harmless jokes with friends, and write them down.
The cafe's three floors each have a different color scheme. The second floor is filled with refreshing green and yellow paper cutouts, while the third floor stands out with its vibrant pink hues, much to the delight of many female customers.
The music in the cafe is quite soothing, perfect for those seeking quiet hours to read or work alone. It's also a regular meeting place for several English and French clubs.
The drinks at the cafe aren't particularly outstanding, although the menu is quite extensive and caters to the tastes of young people. The average price is 40,000 VND per drink. The cute messages written on the cups by the staff for each customer can also instantly bring a smile to your face.

Many customers return to the cafe to look at the messages they left earlier, smiling at the naive thoughts they had experienced, and sticking new notes on the wall to mark their current feelings.
