The new film tells the story of a team of American submariners stationed in the Arctic Ocean. While on a mission, they receive information that a military coup in Russia, initiated by the country's defense minister, is being planned.
This could completely destroy the world order and lead to a large-scale war. To prevent this danger, the submarine crew decided to launch an operation to save the Russian President.
The film's lead roles are played by Gerard Butler and Gary Oldman, while the role of the Russian president is played by Russian actor Alexander Dyachenko. The film is directed by Donovan Marsh.
The film will be released in Russia on October 25, 2018.
