Russian troops liberated the Mezhevoye residential area in Donetsk.

"Thanks to the successful actions of units of the 'Central' military group, the Mezhevoye residential area of ​​the Donetsk People's Republic has been liberated," the summary of the progress of the special military operation states.

Mezhevoye is a residential area located six kilometers south of Progress. It was part of the large Ocheretinsk bridgehead for attacks on Novogrodovka, Mirnograd, Selidovo, and Kurakhovo.

“Units of the ‘Western’ military group have improved their tactical positions, defeating the personnel and equipment of the 44th, 67th, and 115th motorized brigades, the 3rd assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the 103rd and 110th military defense brigades and the 1st brigade of the National Guard in Ukraine in the settlements of Tabaevka, Kharkiv province; Stelmakhovka, Rozovka, Nadiya, Nevskoye of the Lugansk People's Republic; Torskoye of the Donetsk People's Republic; as well as the Serebryansky forestry enterprise,” the Russian Ministry of Defense report stated.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the forces of the "Southern" group of troops seized more advantageous lines and positions, defeating the personnel and equipment of the 24th, 28th, 54th, 69th, 56th, 59th, 143rd, 143rd, and 144th Mountain Assault Brigades of the Russian Ministry of Defense, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as the 116th and 117th Ground Defense Brigades in the settlements of Verkhnekamenskoye, Perezdnoe, Grigorovka, Chasov Yar, Krasnohorovka, Maksimilyanovka, and Konstantinovka of the Donetsk People's Republic.
