Military Region 4 hands over the Na Ngoi Ethnic Boarding School project.
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of October 25th, the 4th Military Region Command handed over the dining hall and kitchen facilities of the Na Ngoi Ethnic Boarding Secondary School in Ky Son District, Nghe An Province.
Na Ngoi Ethnic Boarding Secondary School currently has 39 teachers and 419 students from the Hmong, Thai, and Khmu ethnic groups; of which 313 students are eligible for boarding school services, and 292 students come from impoverished households. The school's dining hall is in serious disrepair, forcing students to set up makeshift kitchens to cook and live independently.

Construction began on June 18, 2016, by the 4th Economic-Defense Brigade under the Nghe An Provincial Military Command. The total cost was 1.1 billion VND, funded by the Ministry of National Defense's "Fund for the Poor" allocated to Military Region 4. After more than two months of construction, the project has been completed and put into use, covering an area of over 272 square meters.2It includes: 7 dining rooms, 1 storage room, 1 kitchen, and 2 processing rooms for utensils.

This is one of many practical projects aimed at effectively implementing the movement of the Army joining hands to build new rural areas, building solidarity between the military and the people, helping the people develop socio-economic conditions, and achieving the goal of poverty eradication, which the officers and soldiers of the Armed Forces of Military Region 4 have been and are currently undertaking.
