Military Region 4 hands over Na Ngoi Ethnic Boarding School project
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of October 25, the Military Region 4 Command handed over the canteen and kitchen of the Na Ngoi Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, Ky Son District, Nghe An Province.
Na Ngoi Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities currently has 39 teachers and 419 students of the Hmong, Thai, and Kho Mu ethnic groups; of which 313 are boarders and 292 are from poor households. The school's dining hall is seriously degraded, and students have to set up makeshift kitchens to cook and live on their own.

The project started on June 18, 2016 by Economic - Defense Group 4 under the Military Command of Nghe An province. The total cost is 1.1 billion VND from the "Day Fund for the Poor" of the Ministry of National Defense granted to Military Region 4. After more than 2 months of construction, the project has been completed and put into use with an area of over 272m2.2, including: 7 dining rooms, 1 warehouse, 1 kitchen and 2 processing and storage rooms.

This is one of many meaningful projects to effectively carry out the movement of the Army joining hands to build new rural areas, build military-civilian solidarity, help people develop socio-economy, and achieve the goal of hunger eradication and poverty reduction that officers and soldiers of Military Region 4 have been carrying out.
