Military Region 4 has a new Deputy Commander
(Baonghean.vn) - This afternoon, March 9, the Military Region 4 Command held a handover ceremony for the duties and responsibilities of Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 between Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi and Major General Nguyen Anh Tuan.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh, Commander of the Military Region chaired the Conference.
The conference was attended by Major General Tran Vo Dung - Party Committee Secretary, Political Commissar of the Military Region, along with comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Command and agencies of the Military Region. Attending the handover ceremony on the side of Army Corps 12 were Colonel Nguyen Huu Ngoc, in charge of the Corps Commander; Colonel Vu Phuc Hau, Party Committee Secretary, Deputy Commander of the Corps.

Previously, the Prime Minister and the Minister of National Defense issued a Decision to remove Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 from his command and management position and extend his military service until May 2021 to serve as a National Assembly Delegate.
On February 11, 2020, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 234/QD-TTg appointing Major General Nguyen Anh Tuan - Commander of Corps 12, Chairman of the Board of Members, General Director of Truong Son Construction Corporation, to hold the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 4.
With more than 40 years of service in the Army, Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi has held many different positions. From March 2014 to February 2020, he was Deputy Commander of Military Region 4; and a National Assembly delegate of the 13th and 14th terms.

Major General Nguyen Anh Tuan, born in 1968, enlisted in October 1985, underwent training at the Engineering Officer School, Military Technical Academy, Army Academy, National Defense Academy... and held many command and management positions. From September 2016 to February 2020, he was appointed Commander of the 12th Corps, Chairman of the Board of Members, and General Director of Truong Son Construction Corporation.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Military Region 4 Command, Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh respectfully acknowledged and thanked Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi for his affection, responsibility and great contributions to the armed forces of Military Region 4 over the past time. With his ability and experience, Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi will continue to pay attention and contribute opinions to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Military Region Command in carrying out military and defense tasks and building an increasingly strong armed force of the Military Region.
The Commander of Military Region 4 also hopes that after handing over the duties and responsibilities of Deputy Commander of the Military Region, Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi will wholeheartedly devote himself to performing the duties of a National Assembly delegate.
Congratulating Major General Nguyen Anh Tuan on his new assignment, Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh believes that with his own capacity and experience, in his new position, the new Deputy Commander of Military Region 4, Nguyen Anh Tuan, will quickly grasp the situation and requirements of the assigned tasks; build high solidarity and unity, propose many important policies and solutions, and together with the Party Committee and the Head of the Military Region Command, lead and direct the armed forces of the Military Region to become increasingly stronger, and successfully complete the assigned tasks.
