Military Region 4: 2016 Drill and Shooting Competition

(Baonghean.vn) - From October 11-12, 2016, the Military Region Command organized a drill and shooting test for the Military Region's headquarters in 2016.

The inspection focused on practicing flag-raising ceremonies and troop reviews at each Military Region agency; checking regulations on troop management, documents on building a regular army, adherence to military discipline, and individual drill regulations without weapons; and firing the K54 rifle (exercise 1) for officers and the AK submachine gun (exercise 1) for professional soldiers.

The officers' group practiced the K54 rifle shooting test, lesson 1.

This inspection provides an opportunity for the Military Region Command to assess the level of understanding of military regulations, documents on building a regular army, disciplinary management, practical skills in drill movements, and marksmanship of officers and professional soldiers from the four Military Region agencies. This will serve as a basis for drawing lessons learned to guide the organization of in-service training for the Military Region agencies in the future.
