Military Region 4 opens the excellent political teaching contest
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 17, at Group 40A Cua Hoi, the Military Region 4 Command held the opening ceremony of the 2017 Excellent Political Teaching Competition for Commune, Ward, and Town Political Commissars.
Attending and directing the contest were Major General Tran Tien Dung - Standing Member of the Party Committee of Military Region IV, Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Region; Major General Nguyen Duc Hoa - Political Commissar of the Military Region; heads of agencies of the Military Region and Military Commands of 6 provinces in the Military Region.

The contest was attended by 30 candidates who were typical political commissars of communes, wards and towns selected from grassroots competitions. During the 2 days, the candidates went through 2 parts: a cognitive test in the form of multiple choice questions and a political teaching practice.
Speaking at the competition, Major General Tran Tien Dung highly appreciated the role and importance of the Militia and Self-Defense Force in building the national defense, defense zones and people's war posture. In particular, the political commissar of the Military Command of communes, wards and towns is the person in charge of Party work and political work for the Militia and Self-Defense Force and the reserve mobilization force in performing their tasks.
