On March 23rd and 24th, Military Region 4 organized a training conference on rescue and relief planning for 2017 for nearly 100 officers and commanders from agencies and units under the Military Region.

The training course introduced and guided participants on the procedures for organizing disaster prevention, mitigation, and recovery, as well as search and rescue operations; the system of documents for leadership, guidance, and operation of disaster prevention and rescue drills; and the development of a system of disaster response and search and rescue plans.

During the training program, officers from the Nghe An Provincial Fire and Rescue Police received training on fire command in real-world conditions; coordination mechanisms and principles, as well as the nature of fire prevention and firefighting; responsibilities and duties of the head of the facility in fire prevention and firefighting; and fire prevention and firefighting for several types of related production activities.

The training aims to standardize the content of advisory and directive work in rescue and relief operations. Simultaneously, it seeks to enhance the management and command capabilities of firefighting at the grassroots level within the Military Region's armed forces for officers and commanders of various agencies and units.
