Pay attention to solving the regime for the frontline workers

(Baonghean.vn) – On the morning of December 30, the Ministry of National Defense held an online conference to summarize the implementation of Decision No. 62/2011/QD-TTg dated November 9, 2011 and deploy the implementation of Decision No. 49/2015/QD-TTg dated October 14, 2015 of the Prime Minister on a number of regimes and policies for frontline laborers.

In the past 4 years (2011-2015), implementing Decision No. 62/2011/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, Nghe An province has had 52,175 cases that have been decided to enjoy subsidy regime. The total amount of one-time subsidy payment according to Decision 62 is 228 billion 593 million VND.

Thanks to that, it has partly solved the difficulties in life for the subjects, affirming the noble meaning in implementing the policies of our Party and State.

After Decision 62, on October 14, 2015, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 49/2015/QD-TTg on a number of regimes and policies for frontline laborers participating in the resistance war against France, against the US, the war to defend the Fatherland and performing international duties.

According to Decision 49, beneficiaries are entitled to benefits and policies such as: one-time subsidy, health insurance, funeral allowance, recognition of time participating in frontline labor force and being granted a certificate of participation in frontline labor force.

Representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors and organizations were present at Nghe An bridge point.

In particular, not all cases of frontline workers are entitled to the regime under Decision 49, but must meet all applicable conditions clearly specified in Article 2 of the Decision.

In Nghe An, through the synchronous survey process serving the implementation of Decision 49, there are currently 118,523 frontline laborers.

In order for the Decision to be effectively put into practice, in the coming time, Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations need to focus on leadership and direction; organize strict implementation, ensure accuracy, fairness and convenience; and proactively resolve arising problems.
