(Baonghean.vn) - Before the final match between Vietnam U23 and Uzbekistan U23, in Yen Thanh district - the hometown of two players Phan Van Duc and Pham Xuan Manh - more than 1,000 people gathered at the district's cultural and sports center to cheer on and support the Vietnam U23 team.

Before the opening whistle blew, in the presence of over 1,000 spectators, Mr. Phan Van Tuyen - Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Thanh District - presented flowers, certificates of merit, and a cash prize of 5 million VND to the relatives of the two players, Phan Van Duc and Pham Xuan Manh.
In addition, several businesses, associations, and groups of people from Yen Thanh on social media have also given valuable gifts to express their gratitude to the two players, sons of the "rice-growing region," who made outstanding contributions and helped bring the U23 Vietnam team to the historic final match.
