Que Phong: 400 Youth Union members help villagers build a road to a Mong village.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 21st, the Standing Committee of the Que Phong District Youth Union organized a campaign to repair and clear the road from Kem Ai village to Huoi Moi 1 village in Tri Le commune.

Over 400 youth union members participated in repairing and upgrading the road from Kem Ai village to Huoi Moi.

The road from Kem Ai village to Huoi Moi 1 is over 5 km long. This is the main transportation route from these two villages to the center of Tri Le commune. The road has been severely damaged and degraded by landslides due to heavy rains and floods. To facilitate travel for the people and overcome the consequences of natural disasters, the Standing Committee of the District Youth Union mobilized 400 youth union members from 24 branches in Tri Le commune to repair the road. In addition to clearing vegetation and cleaning the environment, the branches focused on leveling and filling many sections of the road that had been damaged by landslides, and widening the road's corridor by 1.5 - 2 meters.

Twenty-four youth union branches in Tri Le commune participated in helping local people repair roads.

Travel for the Hmong people has become easier after inter-village roads were repaired and widened.

Also on this occasion, the Que Phong District Youth Union mobilized more than 400 young union members to cooperate with the people of the Mong villages to build 15km of inter-village road from Huoi Moi to Muong Long. This included digging and repairing 6km, digging 5km of new road, and building 3 wooden bridges across streams.
