The National Assembly questioned the fields of auditing, culture, sports, and tourism.
On June 5th, continuing the program of the 7th Session, the National Assembly held another question-and-answer session.
Comrade Tran Thanh Man, member of the Political Bureau and Chairman of the National Assembly, presided over and conducted the working session.

Accordingly, the National Assembly continued to question the second group of issues in the field of Industry and Trade, focusing on the management, supervision, and protection of consumer rights in e-commerce; solutions to boost exports, promote the implementation of FTAs, and remove difficulties for businesses in the context of a continuously changing and unpredictable global situation; and the implementation of policies and laws to develop supporting industries and mechanical engineering, especially in serving the processing of agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products, and the development of agriculture and rural areas.

Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien gave the main answer. Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha; Ministers of Planning and Investment, Finance, Agriculture and Rural Development, Science and Technology, Information and Communications, and Foreign Affairs also participated in answering questions and providing explanations on related issues.

Next, the National Assembly proceeded with questioning the third group of issues related to auditing, with key contents including: responsibility and solutions to address the situation where audited enterprises and projects still commit violations; the implementation of conclusions and recommendations of the State Audit Office; the fight against corruption and negative practices in state audit activities; and solutions to overcome overlapping in inspection and auditing work.

State Auditor General Ngo Van Tuan was the main respondent. Ministers of Planning and Investment, Finance, and the Inspector General of the Government also participated in answering questions and providing explanations on related issues.
In its working program, the National Assembly will conduct questioning on the fourth group of issues in the field of culture, sports, and tourism, including: the selection, training, and policies for athletes and artists in various arts fields; job placement for athletes and artists after their peak performance periods; the implementation of tasks and solutions to stimulate and revive tourism in 2024 and subsequent years; solutions for developing night-time tourism products; and specific policies to attract investment in cultural, sports, and tourism activities in ethnic minority and mountainous regions.


Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung was the main respondent. Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, Ministers of Planning and Investment, Finance, Transport, Education and Training, Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and Home Affairs; and the Minister and Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities also participated in answering questions and providing explanations on related issues.
