The National Assembly approves the appointment of Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers, and other members of the Government.
Continuing the agenda of the first session of the 16th National Assembly, in the morning session of April 8th, the National Assembly voted to approve resolutions ratifying the appointment of Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers, and other members of the Government for the 2026-2031 term.
The government for the 2026-2031 term, along with Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, has six Deputy Prime Ministers who have just been approved by the National Assembly: General Phan Van Giang, Pham Gia Tuc, Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Ho Quoc Dung, Nguyen Van Thang, and Le Tien Chau.
The National Assembly also approved the Prime Minister's proposal to appoint 17 individuals to the positions of Minister and members of the Government for the 2026-2031 term:

Minister of National Defence General Phan Van Giang; Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang; Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung; Minister of Home Affairs Do Thanh Binh; Minister of Justice Hoang Thanh Tung; Minister of Finance Ngo Van Tuan.
Minister of Industry and Trade Le Manh Hung; Minister of Agriculture and Environment Trinh Viet Hung; Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Lam Thi Phuong Thanh; Minister of Science and Technology Vu Hai Quan; Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son; Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan.

Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religion Nguyen Dinh Khang; Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Pham Duc An; Inspector General of the Government Nguyen Quoc Doan; Minister and Head of the Government Office Dang Xuan Phong.
Immediately after the voting results were announced, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man presented flowers to congratulate the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers, and other members of the Government who had just been approved by the National Assembly.
