(Baonghean.vn) - Today (November 5th), entering its third week of work, the National Assembly will dedicate time to discussions in the plenary session. Delegates will discuss the ratification of the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (CPTPP) and the extension of the pilot program for issuing electronic visas to foreigners entering Vietnam.

In the morning, under the chairmanship of National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, the National Assembly will discuss the ratification of the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (CPTPP) and related documents. Following this, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh will address the opinions of National Assembly deputies regarding the CPTPP Agreement.

Also this morning, Minister of Public Security To Lam, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented the Report summarizing the pilot implementation of electronic visa issuance for foreigners entering Vietnam. After hearing the Government's report on the summary of the pilot implementation of electronic visa issuance for foreigners entering Vietnam, delegates will discuss extending the implementation period of Resolution No. 30/2016/QH14 on the pilot issuance of electronic visas for foreigners entering Vietnam. The head of the Public Security sector will explain the related issues.

In the afternoon, the National Assembly will dedicate time to hearing the report explaining, receiving feedback, and revising the draft Law on the Vietnam Coast Guard. This content will also be discussed by delegates in the plenary session.
