National Assembly discusses socio-economic issues, revised Law on Employment
In the third working week of the 8th Session (from November 4 to 9), the National Assembly discussed many important issues such as the results of implementing the socio-economic development plan, the revised Law on Employment, and the Law on Teachers.
Accordingly, the National Assembly spent the whole day on Monday (November 4) discussing in the hall the assessment of the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan for 2024; the projected socio-economic development plan for 2025; and the policy of adjusting the National Land Use Plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.
In the morning session on November 5, the National Assembly also spent most of its time discussing in the hall the implementation of the state budget in 2024, the state budget estimate, and the central budget allocation plan for 2025.

On the same day, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army. Afterwards, the Minister of National Defense explained and clarified a number of issues raised by delegates.
During the week, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented a report on the draft resolution of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties and obstacles for projects and land in the inspection, examination and judgment conclusions in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Khanh Hoa province.
According to the program, the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented a report on the draft revised Law on Employment; the Minister of Education and Training presented a report on the draft Law on Teachers.
Delegates discussed in the hall the draft Resolution on piloting the handling of evidence and assets during the investigation, prosecution and trial of a number of criminal cases. Afterwards, the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy explained and clarified a number of issues raised by the delegates.
