State funeral of former Prime Minister Phan Van Khai
The funeral of former Prime Minister Phan Van Khai began at 8am today, March 20, at Thong Nhat Hall (Ho Chi Minh City) and will last until tomorrow, March 21.

On the morning of March 20, at the Thong Nhat Hall, preparations for the funeral of late Prime Minister Phan Van Khai were made very early. As early as 7am, senior leaders and former leaders of the Party and State arrived to prepare for the funeral.
The head of the funeral committee is General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
At Thong Nhat Hall, the funeral of former Prime Minister Phan Van Khai will begin at 8:00 a.m. on March 20 and end on March 21.
The memorial service will be solemnly held at 7:30 a.m. on March 22 at Thong Nhat Hall. The burial ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. the same day at the former Prime Minister's hometown in Tan Thong Hoi commune, Cu Chi district.
At the same time, at the International Conference Center No. 11 Le Hong Phong (Ba Dinh District, Hanoi), a memorial service for former Prime Minister Phan Van Khai was also held.
The activities will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television and Voice of Vietnam.
