(Baonghean.vn) - In 2017, Quy Chau district experienced two serious food poisoning incidents, affecting 43 people. Fortunately, there were no fatalities.
On the morning of April 18th, the People's Committee of Quy Chau district held a ceremony to launch the 2018 Food Safety Action Month.

At the launching ceremony, the Steering Committee requested that the departments and organizations of the 12 communes and towns strengthen the dissemination of information on legal regulations regarding food safety in food production and business; intensify inspection and supervision of food production and business establishments in the area regarding compliance with food safety regulations; and widely publicize information through mass media about production and business establishments that violate food safety laws.

Following the launching ceremony, the District People's Committee organized inter-agency teams to inspect food safety and hygiene at food production, processing, and business establishments.
