Quy Chau holds by-election for Chairman of the District People's Committee
(Baonghean.vn) - The Quy Chau District People's Council held a by-election for the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee. The result showed that 100% of the district People's Council delegates elected Mr. Bui Van Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Quy Chau District Party Committee, to the position of Chairman of the Quy Chau District People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
On March 18th, the Quy Chau District People's Council held its 14th session (a specialized session) to address several personnel-related issues.
Attending the ceremony were: Comrade Le Dinh Ly - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Organization Department; Comrade Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Comrade Vuong Quang Minh - Principal of the Provincial Political School; and representatives from provincial Party committees. Leaders of Quy Chau district included Comrade Nguyen Thanh Hoai - Secretary of the District Party Committee, members of the District Party Standing Committee, and 32 delegates of the District People's Council, term 2021-2026.
At the meeting, the Quy Chau District People's Council held a by-election for the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee. The result was that 100% of the district People's Council delegates elected Mr. Bui Van Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Quy Chau District Party Committee - to the position of Chairman of the Quy Chau District People's Committee for the term 2021-2026.
Previously, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee issued Decision No. 2059-QD/TU, dated August 3, 2023, on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Vuong Quang Minh - Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Quy Chau District, term 2021-2026, to the position of Principal of the Provincial Political School.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee issued Decision No. 2112-QD/TU, dated September 21, 2023, approving the appointment of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoai, Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the People's Committee of Quy Chau District, as Secretary of the Quy Chau District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
On March 1, 2024, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee issued Decision No. 2448-QD/TU on the rotation and appointment of Mr. Bui Van Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quy Chau District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
