Quy Chau: Commending exemplary models in building a cultured way of life.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 29th, the People's Committee of Quy Chau district held a conference to summarize 15 years of implementing the "All people unite to build a cultured life" movement, 20 years of implementing the "All people unite to build a cultured life in residential areas" campaign, and 10 years of implementing the Regulations on practicing civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals, and festivals.

The "National Unity for Building a Culturally Rich Life" movement and the "National Unity for Building a Culturally Rich Life in Residential Areas" campaign have contributed to changing the face of the mountainous Quy Chau region, improving the material and spiritual lives of the people, and creating momentum for the successful implementation of political, economic, cultural, and social tasks throughout the district.

The leaders of Quy Chau district presented certificates of commendation to outstanding individuals.

The results of building cultural villages and cultural families have made a positive contribution to limiting and repelling social evils, eradicating backward customs and superstitions, and promoting many fine traditions and traditional cultural identities.

To date, the entire district has recognized 10,052 families as culturally exemplary families; 100 out of 146 villages and hamlets have been recognized as culturally exemplary villages; 29 out of 109 agencies have been recognized as culturally exemplary units; 118 out of 146 villages and hamlets have community cultural centers; and 7 out of 12 communes and towns have stadiums...

Civilized practices in weddings, funerals, and festivals are being widely adopted. Many localities and families are practicing frugality and civility while still preserving traditional cultural values, fostering community spirit, and providing mutual support and assistance within the community.

During the period 2016-2020, 50% of communes achieved the new rural cultural standard; the rate of culturally exemplary families reached 78-80%; the rate of culturally exemplary villages and hamlets reached 77-78%; and 50% of communes had cultural and sports facilities that met the criteria of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

On this occasion, the District People's Committee awarded certificates of commendation to 16 collectives and 11 individuals who have achieved outstanding results in 15 years of implementing the "All people unite to build a cultured life" movement, 20 years of implementing the "All people unite to build a cultured life in residential areas" campaign, and 10 years of practicing civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals, and festivals.
