In recent times, when implementing projects, Quy Hop district has reclaimed land when implementing infrastructure construction projects, public works, production development... to ensure clean land for investors. However, reclaiming agricultural land for project implementation directly affects the lives, income, occupations, and activities of the people. Therefore, the work of compensation and site clearance has been directed by Party committees and authorities at all levels from district to commune, ensuring that policies are in accordance with regulations, on time, and basically meet the aspirations of the people.

In the period of 2016-2021, Quy Hop district has recovered land from 452 households and individuals with a total area of ​​78.7 hectares to implement 22 projects, with a total compensation and support cost of nearly 24 billion VND..Of which, compensation for land use rights value is more than 5 billion VND, property value on land is more than 4.1 billion VND; support for career conversion is nearly 15 billion VND.

Compensation, support and resettlement when acquiring land in Quy Hop district in the period of 2016-2021 mainly acquired agricultural land, gardens and ponds adjacent to residential land, so there were no cases of relocation or resettlement. The acquisition ensures that projects are implemented in accordance with the law.
