In recent years, the Quy Hop district has been carrying out land acquisition for infrastructure construction projects, public works, and production development to ensure a clean site for investors. However, the acquisition of agricultural land for projects directly affects the lives, incomes, occupations, and livelihoods of the people. Therefore, compensation and land clearance work has been given attention and guidance by Party committees and authorities at all levels, from the district to the commune, ensuring that policies are implemented correctly, on time, and meet the basic aspirations of the people.

During the period 2016-2021, Quy Hop district reclaimed land from 452 households and individuals, totaling 78.7 hectares, to implement 22 projects, with a total compensation and support cost of nearly 24 billion VND..This includes compensation for land use rights exceeding 5 billion VND, compensation for assets on the land exceeding 4.1 billion VND; and support for career transition totaling nearly 15 billion VND.

Compensation, support, and resettlement work when land is reclaimed in Quy Hop district during the period 2016-2021 mainly involved the reclamation of agricultural land, gardens, and ponds adjacent to residential land, so there were no cases requiring relocation or resettlement. The land reclamation ensured that projects were implemented in accordance with the law.
