This winter crop, Quy Hop planted 479 hectares. At the beginning of the production season, TH Milk Company lent people 20 kg of corn seeds and 500 kg of NPK fertilizer per hectare to encourage people to grow corn on rice fields. Currently, Chau Cuong, Chau Quang, Chau Thai, and Chau Dinh communes are harvesting corn to sell to TH Milk Company and Vinamilk.

Currently, whole corn cobs are purchased by companies for farmers at the field price of 700,000 VND/ton. With an average yield of 2.4 tons/sao, each hectare will yield about 48 tons of corn, which will bring in over 33 million VND in revenue.

Up to this point, milk processing factories have purchased about 30% of the area for the people. It is expected that before December 20th of the lunar calendar, all corn will be purchased so that people can prepare the land for spring rice planting.
