(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 10th,The Vietnamese Heart Foundation - Vietnam Television (VTV) in collaborationHanvet Pharmaceutical and Veterinary Supplies Joint Stock CompanyWe have provided support to 5 disadvantaged families in the province, giving each family one breeding calf.

Five calves were donated to five households in communes of Yen Thanh and Quynh Luu districts. The families who received the cows are all poor households with precarious economic conditions, lacking stable employment and income, and suffering from illness and disease, making them less able to perform heavy labor.

Each calf, valued at over 10 million VND, was funded by the Vietnam Television's "Vietnamese Hearts" Fund, along with contributions from the staff and employees of Hanvet Pharmaceutical and Veterinary Supplies Joint Stock Company.

In addition, households received further support to purchase feed and disease prevention medicines for calf farming. Furthermore, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nghe An province directed the Livestock and Veterinary Sub-department and specialized units to provide guidance, transfer scientific and technical knowledge, and offer effective calf care methods for households to apply.

This initiative aims to support and encourage economically disadvantaged families to overcome poverty and gradually improve their quality of life.
