'Vietnamese Heart' Fund gives breeding calves to poor households
(Baonghean.vn) - Morning of September 10,Tam Long Viet Fund - VTV in cooperationPharmaceutical and Veterinary Supplies Joint Stock Company (Hanvet)supported 5 families in difficult circumstances in the province, each family with 1 breeding calf.
Five calves were given to five households in communes of two districts, Yen Thanh and Quynh Luu. The families receiving the cows are all poor, with unstable economic lives, no jobs and stable income, and are sick and have little ability to do heavy work.

Each calf worth over 10 million VND was taken from the Vietnamese Heart Fund of Vietnam Television, along with contributions from officers and employees of Hanvet Pharmaceutical and Veterinary Supplies Joint Stock Company.
In addition, households have been provided with additional support to purchase food and disease prevention medicine for raising calves. In addition, Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has directed the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine and specialized units to guide, transfer science and technology, and effective calf care measures for households to apply.
This activity aims to support and encourage economically disadvantaged families to escape poverty and gradually improve their quality of life.
