Recently, at Nghia Loi Primary School in Nghia Tho commune, the Foundation for Vietnamese Stature (VSF) held a ceremony to summarize the "Happy School" project for the 2025-2026 school year and a Reading Culture Promotion Day. Through VSF's persistent efforts in creating a humane educational environment over the years, students not only learn and acquire knowledge, but are also loved, respected, and developed holistically.

More than just physical infrastructure, the support from the project is a tremendous source of motivation, giving teachers and students greater confidence on their educational journey. To make "Every day at school a happy day"

Unlike typical material support projects, "Happy Schools" places special emphasis on "software"—that is, enhancing the capabilities of teachers, students, and parents—core elements that create sustainable change in the school environment.

A happy school is not only built on improved facilities but also on a safe, respectful, and supportive educational environment that fosters the development of each student. In such an environment, students are encouraged to participate, express their opinions, and take initiative in their learning. The Foundation for Vietnamese Stature is proud to have contributed to this journey, and in the coming school years, the project will continue to expand its implementation to other provinces and cities across the country.

The highlight of the ceremony was the "Young Communicators" competition with the theme "Small Message - Big Change," organized within the framework of a project specifically for students currently studying at the school. Through creative forms such as drawing, making wall newspapers, and storytelling with paper puppets, the students confidently expressed their views on gender equality, environmental protection, and preventing school violence. At the closing ceremony, 13 individuals and class groups with outstanding achievements in the competition were honored.

The atmosphere became even more vibrant with the "Reading Culture Promotion Day," where 424 students participated in educational and folk-themed game booths, with diverse and engaging experiential activities. The event was elaborately designed with 7 knowledge-based game booths, cleverly incorporating themes that had been covered throughout the school year's communication project, such as oral hygiene, proper nutrition, gender equality, and reading habits.

In addition, the three traditional games booths attracted a large number of students, creating a vibrant yet welcoming cultural space. All activities were designed to be suitable for elementary school children, harmoniously combining physical activity and teamwork. This not only provided opportunities for children to have fun and exercise but also helped them remember knowledge naturally and effectively, transforming theoretical lessons into memorable experiences.

Kim Ngan (a 5th-grade student) excitedly said: “I’m very happy that this is the first time the school has had such a big event. What I liked most was learning about gender equality through games, which helped me understand more about biological characteristics and social perceptions.”

Highly appreciating the project's effectiveness, Mr. Le Ngoc Uyen – Vice Chairman of Nghia Tho Commune People's Committee – affirmed that the partnership of the Fund for Vietnamese Stature and sponsoring units has made a significant contribution to bringing books closer to students, gradually forming a reading habit and building a foundation for a learning society in the locality.
