Quynh Ba received the certificate of recognition of the commune meeting new rural standards.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 19, Quynh Ba commune (Quynh Luu) held a ceremony to receive the certificate of recognition as a commune meeting rural standards in 2016.

After 6 years of implementing the new rural construction program, Quynh Ba commune has mobilized over 183 million VND to invest in new rural construction. Of which, the central budget is 32 million VND, the provincial budget is over 32.6 million VND, the district budget is over 5.3 million VND, the commune budget is 18 million VND, and people contributed and invested in building and renovating houses more than 95 million VND.

Up to now, the poverty rate has decreased from 13.7% (2010) to 2.2% (2016). The average income per capita has reached 36 million VND/year, 3.5 times higher than in 2010. All village roads and alleys have been paved, medical stations, schools, and cultural houses in villages have been built...

Quynh Ba commune has completed 19 criteria in the National criteria set for building new rural areas. With these results, Quynh Ba commune was recognized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as a commune meeting new rural standards on December 7, 2016.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Van Hang - Deputy Chief of the Provincial Office for New Rural Development Coordination highly appreciated the results that Quynh Ba commune has achieved in implementing the national target program on new rural construction. He suggested that the Party Committee, government and people of Quynh Ba commune should consider new rural construction as a regular and continuous task; focus on prioritizing economic development, and limit the mobilization of people beyond their capacity.

The whole commune needs to focus on implementing the goal of sustainable poverty reduction, paying attention to the material and spiritual life of policy families and people in difficult circumstances. Also at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Van Hang - Deputy Chief of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office awarded the Certificate of recognition of the commune meeting new rural standards to Quynh Ba commune and awarded 500 million VND to the commune to build welfare works in the coming time.

The Provincial People's Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 2 individuals and the Quynh Luu District People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in the process of building new rural areas.

On the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, Quynh Ba commune also organized the Opening Ceremony of the Sports Festival and Summer Camp 2017./.
