Quynh Luu: 33 out of 34 targets for 2015 were met or exceeded.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 26, 2015, the Standing Committee of the Quynh Luu District Party Committee held its regular November meeting to evaluate the results of the political tasks performed in 2015.

In 2015, Quynh Luu district achieved and exceeded all targets in the fields of socio-economic development, security, national defense, and Party building according to the plan, with 33 out of 34 targets being met or exceeded.

Comrade Le Duc Cuong, Secretary of the District Party Committee, concluded the meeting.

In particular, some targets were difficult to achieve, but thanks to the close guidance of the Party committee and the government, they were met and exceeded, such as: an estimated economic growth rate of 7.43%; and an average per capita income of 26.5 million VND/year. During the year, 7 communes in the district completed the New Rural Development program, and 1 commune is currently building a model New Rural Development area. The mindset of cadres, Party members, and the people in Quynh Luu district is stable, consensual, and confident in the Party's guidelines, policies, and the State's laws. The people are actively participating in the New Rural Development program, contributing to economic development, poverty reduction, and legitimate wealth creation. These are favorable conditions for Quynh Luu district to surpass the socio-economic targets set for 2016.
