Quynh Luu: Donating 300 national flags to coastal fishermen.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 15th, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district held a ceremony to present the national flag to fishing boats of fishermen from coastal communes.

The leaders of Quynh Luu district personally presented the flag to the fishermen on the boat.

At the ceremony, representatives from the Quỳnh Lưu district leadership presented 300 national flags to fishermen in the communes of Tiến Thủy, Quỳnh Nghĩa, Quỳnh Long, Sơn Hải, and Quỳnh Thọ. This activity aims to encourage fishermen, despite difficulties, to persevere in venturing out to sea and exploiting marine resources in their traditional fishing grounds.

The offshore fishing activities of fishermen not only play a crucial role in the development of the marine economy but also contribute to the protection of national sovereignty and security at sea, affirming the sovereignty of the nation's seas and islands.

Fisherman Tran Xuan Toc from Phu Lien hamlet, Quynh Long commune, hoists a flag on his boat.

On this occasion, the District People's Committee also presented 50 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to 50 families of fishermen in difficult circumstances in the district.
