(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 3rd, the leaders of Quynh Luu district visited and presented gifts to a number of policy beneficiary families and disadvantaged families in the area.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to two orphaned siblings, Nguyen Dinh An (10 years old) and Nguyen Thi Nhan (8 years old), in Hamlet 14, Quynh Van Commune. Despite their young age, the two children tragically lost both their parents in a traffic accident. They are currently being cared for and raised by their elderly grandparents.

Next, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Van Dieu in Hamlet 6, Quynh Van Commune, who has been tirelessly helping students cross the road day and night for over 10 years. They presented him with a warm blanket and a gift of 1 million VND.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited and presented financial support to policy beneficiary families in Cau Giat town who have made many positive contributions to the land clearance work for the Overpass Project - National Highway 48B, including: war invalid Nguyen Van Thanh in Block 1, Cau Giat town (40 million VND), and two families of war invalid Nguyen Dinh Tien in Block 1 and Agent Orange victim Tran Dinh Hai in Block 3, each receiving 5 million VND.
