Launching the Hung Son Folk Song and Traditional Music Club.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 30th, in Nam Dan, the Management Board of the Project on Diversifying Livelihoods Based on Heritage Tourism in Agricultural and Fishing Villages of Nghe An Province, in coordination with JICA experts and the Hung Son Folk Song and Traditional Music Club (Van Dien commune, Nam Dan district), organized a performance for evaluation and the launch of the club.

Attending the launch ceremony were representatives from the JICA project, the Nghe An Department of Tourism, the Nam Dan District People's Committee, the Nghe An Travel Association, and a large number of local people and tourists from all over the country.

The club was launched to preserve and promote the values ​​of the spiritual cultural heritage of Nghe An folk songs and "Vi Giam" (a type of folk singing). From there, it aims to improve the performance and promotion of Nghe Tinh folk songs and "Vi Giam" to tourists visiting the area, while also serving cultural and political events in the locality. The goal is to gradually bring Nghe Tinh folk songs and "Vi Giam" closer to the people and tourists whenever they visit Nam Dan, and eventually to serve cultural and spiritual tourism tours in the district.

Initially, the Hung Son Folk Song and Traditional Music Club in Van Dien commune planned to hold regular meetings twice a month, on the second and fourth Sundays of the month, with adjustments to be made depending on the actual situation, at the Van Dien commune cultural center and the Bac Son Pagoda historical site complex (Nam Dan).

In addition, the Club's management board will proactively contact restaurants such as Tuyet Son and Ngan Trinh; tourist attractions such as Dai Tue Pagoda, Vien Quang Pagoda, Kim Lien Historical Site, Bac Son Historical Complex, and the Temple and Mausoleum of King Mai; local festivals such as the King Mai Festival; and political events of state agencies in the district so that Club members can perform when needed.
