(Baonghean.vn) - On November 17th, in Hanoi, the National Archives Center III, in coordination with the National Political Publishing House, organized a ceremony to introduce the book "The Imprint of Vo Van Kiet in the Renovation Period" and receive documents about Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth (November 23, 1922 - November 23, 2022).

This book is a selection of archival materials reflecting important milestones from the leadership practice of...Comrade Vo Van Kietacross the fields of economics, culture, society, and diplomacy.

Comrade Vo Van Kiet's writings, speeches, letters, and telegrams clearly demonstrate his innovative thinking and major decisions, as well as his directives to all sectors, fields, localities, and social forces, encompassing almost all pressing issues of the country. They reflect his strategic vision and keen insight, aimed at unleashing and developing the potential and capabilities of all regions to work together and successfully carry out the reform process. His decisions were imbued with a deep love for the nation and its people, deeply rooted in the realities of life, and showcased the character, intellect, and vision of a strategic leader.

Writing about the book, Comrade Vo Van Thuong - Member of the Political Bureau, Standing Secretary of the Central Committee - commented: “Publishing the book 'The Imprint of Vo Van Kiet in the Renovation Period' on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Comrade Vo Van Kiet's birth (November 23, 1922 - November 23, 2022) is a very meaningful act, contributing to expressing gratitude for Comrade Vo Van Kiet's contributions to the revolutionary cause of our Party and nation… The book is a valuable source of information, helping readers, especially cadres, Party members and the younger generation today, to better understand the life and revolutionary career of Comrade Vo Van Kiet - an outstanding disciple of President Ho Chi Minh.”

The book, over 800 pages long and measuring 16 x 24 cm, is divided into three parts, arranged chronologically, reflecting important milestones in the practical leadership of national construction and development, and groundbreaking changes that brought great victories to the Vietnamese revolution (Part I: Vo Van Kiet's mark in the economic field; Part II: Vo Van Kiet's mark in the cultural and social field; Part III: Vo Van Kiet's mark in diplomatic activities).
